Sam Bailey is the X Factor 2013 winner who warmed her way
into the hearts of many during her audition for the show. With a baby on the
way and her star on the rise, the former prison officer seems unstoppable. And
as we embrace her, the more we learn about her.
In an interview with Now magazine, the X Factor(TV Show)
star shed a light on her personal life by revealing a little about her struggles
with ovarian cysts.
As she states, while she had been having issues with her
periods, in addition to constant abdominal pain, she did not recognize these as
symptoms of cysts in ovaries. Her appendicitis that forced her to pay a visit
to the doctor, something which fortunately led to the discovery of the condition
of her ovaries.
A few years after a cyst removal by surgery and a new born baby on the way,
her struggles with cysts in ovaries are behind her. As to her opening up about
her health challenges, the X Factor celebrity says:
"I've probably told you a bit too much. But if it
means I'm helping someone else who's not had a period for a few months and has
stomach pains, it's worth it.”
