1. Dermoid Ovarian Cysts
Dermoid cysts usually develop from undifferentiated cells. This means that the cells that end up forming this type of growth usually have the ability to develop into any tissue. Therefore, these cysts tend to have different types of tissues such as teeth, hair, skin and many other tissue types. 6. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
This is a condition that is majorly characterized by the presence of multiple cysts in a woman’s ovaries. The cysts are usually small in size. Unlike the polycystic appearing ovary condition, this condition is usually associated with other symptoms in addition to the presence of multiple small cysts.
7. Malignant Ovarian Cysts
These are cysts that contain cancerous cells. Malignant cysts are thus what usually result in ovarian cancer. When detected early on, they can be easily treated. The cancerous cells can spread when not catered to on time. This can eventually result into death.
